Okay, so I watched the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky special today, and I have some issues with it. Spoilers may come, just to warn anyone who cares. :]

First off, THE VOICES. Oh GOSH. The first time Wigglytuff spoke, I nearly choked on my bagel. He sounded like Ash with a head cold. I think he had the same VA. I'm also pretty sure Corphish was Meowth. But most of all, Grovyle. He sounded exactly like Mewtwo. o_o

I was freaked out the first time he talked. Then I laughed. For a very long time.

And the script? It was basically the VA's reading what's in the videogame. Almost line for line. I could honestly almost predict exactly what was going to happen.

And the CLIFF HANGER. It leaves off in a weird place. If you've played the game, you know what happens. If you haven't, you have no idea what's going on through most of it. It's starts in a weird place too.

And my biggest quarrel with this special? When time stops in a region, the Pokemon get stopped in time too. (Excuse me, but, um, WHAT?)

That does not happen in the games. Cause in the special, pretty much every Pokemon not in The Hidden Land gets frozen by the end. How could Pokemon come from the future, where all of time is frozen, if the Pokemon are all supposed to be frozen too? Plot holes: I pick on them.

Anyway, yes, I ranted. Mainly because I'm super excited about the new game coming out with the same title. Which the special told us nothing about, really, considering that the scene they portrayed is in previous games. Reason why I know so much about it. Yeah. </dorkbutnotreally>
